General Description
This modern and very well-equipped house is situated about 15-20 mins walk from the sea in a nice residential hamlet. Also 500m approx. from the house is a lake with two lovely sandy beaches. On the other side, within walking distance, you will find as many shops and restaurants as you want in Vieux Boucau, which is mostly pedestrian. If you play golf, you will enjoy the nearest 9-hole golf course only 1km from the house; a 18-hole golf course is in Moliets, 10km north of Vieux Boucau.
From Vieux Boucau, it is easy to visit several famous towns like Dax, the first French town for water cure, or Bayonne and Biarritz, which are under an 1 hours drive. But the main attraction in the area remains the great long sandy beaches and the sea with its excellent waves, which would attract good surfers. In Vieux Boucau, you enjoy concerts and music in the evenings as the area is lively especially during July and August.

The front door opens directly into the living/dining room. Here are two sofas, a TV with English channels, DVD, plus video recorder, and a table and chairs to seat 8. By the entrance is a separate WC. The living room is adjacent to the fitted kitchen and separated from it by a low set of cupboards. The kitchen is equipped with a microwave as well as an ordinary oven and a dishwasher. There is a utility room next door with a washing machine and a tumble dryer. On two sides of the living room, sliding glass windows open onto the large covered terrace overlooking the swimming pool and garden.
Off the living room is a small passage, which leads to three bedrooms. One with a double bed, one with 2 sets of bunk beds (suitable for 4 children) and one with a double bed; en-suite of this last bedroom is a small shower room with washbasin. Another bathroom with bath, shower and WC is situated between the two first bedrooms. The house has a telephone, electric blinds and a safe.
The lawned garden of 1000m2 is enclosed and has a ping-pong table. The salted swimming pool is 11m x 5.5m (with Roman steps) going from 50cm to 1.70m depth and is exclusively used by French Affair clients. Out of season it can be covered and warmed very effectively by solar panels. A discreet caretaker resides in a separate studio with its own entrance and garden during July/August.
