For the beauty of the place, in 1495 the house and land was given as dowry by Anton Maria Gherardini to his daughter Lisa alias Monna Lisa in the famous portrait by Leonardo da Vinci`s Gioconda. Conveniently located in the heart of Chianti near San Donato in Poggio, only 10min drive from the dual carriageway to Florence and Siena. There are plenty of good restaurants and characteristic villages to be visited within 20mns drive. For the less active, this is the perfect spot for sundowners. Interiors are of fine quality and naturally bright living areas. Amenties include satellite TV,well equipped kitchen & prettly tiled bathrooms with showers.The panoramic pool (6m x 12m) with a jacuzzi corner is a perfect spot to admire the Chianti hills and their spectacular sunsets. On request we can rent the two flats independently, each for up to 6guests.
