ll windows are fitted with insect screens. The spiral staircase up to the first floor is not suitable for unsupervised very young children.

Location
We are about half a mile from Piedimonte, in the foothills of Etna, and a short drive from Taormina, Sicily’s best known resort and home to the Teatro Greco, the Greek Theatre (though what remains is almost entirely Roman), with its far-reaching views as far as Calabria on the Italian mainland’s toe. Apart from the well-furnished pool area, this villa is made for outdoor living, with a barbecue area and spacious terraces that encircle most of the house.From the road, an electric gate allows entry into ample parking. The swimming pool measures 8m x 4m x 1.50 uniform depth.
