This villa is located above the village of Brela with panaromic sea views in front and the beautiful Biokovo mountains behind. From this property you look out across the sea to the Islands of Brac and Hvar, and on clear days the views extend to Peljesac peninsula as well as up and down the Makarska coast. It has a spacious plot of 1500m2 in natural surroundings. The garden is full of plum, pear and cherry trees as well as lettuce, tomatoes, olives and chard all of which can be used by our clients. You can walk 1km to a local restaurant `Konoba Topich` which serves traditional Croatian food and wines. The final appproach to the villa has 2km of unsurfaced road - slow driving is required!
The exterior of the property is made of old Dalmatian stone and dates from 1879; the interior has a number of authentic furniture pieces plus old paintings, which combine delightfully with modern fittings in the kitchen and bathrooms. On your arrival the owner will welcome you and offer a glass of his home made wine and will give you a short history of the house, if you have the time. The original old village of Brela is 2km from the property and is a collection of lovely old stone buildings; about 4km away is the sea shore below where you find the newer seaside resort of Brela, which has excellent shingle beaches, plus several shops and restaurants. A few minutes along the coast is the centre of Baska Voda, which also has a good selection of restaurants and shops. 25 minutes drive is the lively town of Makarska with regular ferries to Brac Island, and one hours drive is the historical centre of Split.

The property consists of two stone buildings side by side rented as one property; each has similar furnishings and the same lay out. In front is a spacious stone paved terrace with a barbecue plus dining table and chairs for 12 persons, and to one side is a 7.5m x 3.5m swimming pool with recliners and outside shower.
You enter the first building from the terrace into the living/dining area which has a double sofa bed, coffee table, satellite TV, and dining table and chairs to seat 6. Open plan to this is the fully equipped kitchen with hob, oven, fridge, microwave and dishwasher. Off this room is a double bedroom with sea view, and a shower room/wc with washing machine. On the first floor is a gallery off which is a twin bedroom; in one building the twin bedroom area is open plan to the gallery. The second building is also off the terrace and has on ground level a large traditional dining area with a barbecue plus big table and benches where you can prepare and eat grilled food; off the room is a separate wc. On the upper level is a living/dining area with a double sofa bed, coffee table, satellite TV, plus dining table and chairs to seat 6. Open plan to this is the fully equipped kitchen with hob, oven, fridge, microwave and dishwasher. Off this room is a double bedroom with sea view, and a shower room/wc with washing machine. Up steep wooden steps is an open gallery with twin beds.
