Approach
Villa Moonrise enjoys a great location: situated between the old town of Pollensa and the modern seaside town of Puerto Pollensa. This comfortable family villa has large sunny terraces and a private pool. It features the white-washed walls and red-tiled roofs that are so typical of European holiday villas. From the driveway to the front of the villa, a door opens into an entrance hallway.
Ground Floor
The cosy sitting area has two large sofas facing towards each other, with a coffee table in between. There is an open fireplace and a side cabinet with small TV. The room stretches out to the right and a dining area with a polished wood table and four chairs by an attractive wooden sideboard.
A small archway leads from the sitting area through to the open-plan kitchen which has a breakfast table and four chairs. There are base level wooden units and a granite worktop with integral stainless steel sink. The kitchen is well-equipped with a microwave, oven/hob, free-standing fridge/freezer, washing machine, toaster and kettle.
A corridor leads to the bedrooms which include two room furnished with twin beds and one with a single bed. The first twin room has wooden-framed beds, bedside tables, a chair, chest of drawers, wardrobe and en-suite shower room with shower cubicle, toilet and washbasin. The second twin also has wooden-framed beds and a large chest of drawers with an integral mirror. The final bedroom has a small chest of drawers, round wall mirror, and bedside table with small reading lamp. There is a family bathroom with full bathtub, overbath shower, toilet, washbasin and shaving mirror. This bathroom has white tiles from floor-to ceiling and a pretty, patterned shower curtain.
Outside
Doors from the villa open onto a terrace with terracotta tiles. Under a covered area, there is a garden table and chairs, potted plants and palms and the supporting pillars are decorated with attractive mosaic tiles. Here in the shade you can enjoy a long lazy lunch, looking over at the surrounding mountainous countryside.
A step up from the sunny terrace leads you into the gated pool area. A wall of balustrades borders the pool, making the area safe for small children who will not be able to access it without supervision. The large rectangular pool has integral steps leading you gently into the shallow end, and is set within a large terrace. There are sunloungers for lazing in the sun, and a covered dining area with built-in barbecue.

Location
This comfortable family villa is situated in a quiet residential area, in the countryside between Pollensa old town and the coast. This villa has private gardens and pool, which are quite secluded. However, it does have nearby neighbours which may not suit those looking for total seclusion.
The quaint old town of Pollensa, 2km away, has many restaurants, cafes and shops. On Sunday, the main café-lined square of Placa Major is filled with market stalls selling local crafts and colourful fresh fruit and flowers. A nice stroll around Pollensa will lead you up winding narrow streets that date back to the 18th Century.
Surrounding and sheltering the town are the foothills of the Sierra de Tramuntana, providing unforgettable views – and, for the more adventurous, opportunities for walking and hiking.
The beach at Puerto Pollensa, 4km away has warm, shallow waters - ideal for families with small children. It offers a selection of water sports, and facilities such as beachside cafes and sunbeds/parasols. However, there are also a number of small coves in the surrounding area for those who want more peace and seclusion. The bay of Puerto Pollensa is home to an array of luxury yachts, as well as colourful local fishing boats. In the evening,
