Ground Floor
The villa is well furnished and decorated in a rustic style, with terracotta floors, whitewashed walls and exposed ceiling beams. The main living area has a chunky oak dining table with seating for six at one end. . The comfortable living room has sofas and armchairs and a large woodburning stove. There is a television with some satellite channels and a DVD player.
The kitchen is off the dining area and has pine units and alcoves decorated with copper pans and traditional Mallorcan pottery. It is well-equipped with a washing machine, dishwasher and microwave as well as a hob, oven and fridge/freezer. There is a convenient breakfast table and chairs against one wall.
The villa has three bedrooms, all decorated in simple and uncluttered style. There is a master double bedroom, separate bathroom. Two twin rooms and separate shower room, which also has convenient exterior access – ideal for use during the day whilst around the pool.
Outside
The villa has three shaded patios and a large sunbathing terrace, equipped with sun-loungers and patio furniture. The garden is mainly laid to lawn and has a lovely free-form swimming pool set in the middle. There is a tiled barbecue terrace which has a built-in barbecue and convenient food preparation area so you can easily prepare meals whilst keeping a watchful eye on children playing in the pool.

Location
Villa Gigi is a lovely stone-built family villa with a private pool located in the heart of the countryside. There are far-reaching views across the surrounding countryside to mountains in the distance and the villa has pleasant gardens where you can relax in peace and seclusion. If you are looking for a little more activity however, the villa is only a short drive from Puerto Pollensa, around 5km away, which has an excellent range of shopping and leisure facilities as well as a wide sandy beach. Bike hire is recommended as there are lots of cycle paths in the area which you can follow to reach various beaches and the main resort without having to get in the car.
Beautiful Pollensa Bay has sheltered waters and a some excellent white sandy beaches. The gently sloping beach at Puerto Pollensa is popular with families and there is also a good selection of water sports on offer and some excellent beachside facilities including beach bars, ice cream parlours and sun-bed hire. Try water ski-ing, parasailing or windsurfing if you are feeling energetic, or take a gentle ride in a pedalo in the bay’s clear blue waters. There is a prestigious sailing club in the resort offering tuition and equipment hire. The resort has a fairly low key nightlife centred mainly around the bars and restaurants near the marina where you can admire the colourful mix of luxury yachts and fishing boats. Take advantage of the balmy evenings to enjoy an evening stroll along the ‘Pine Walk’, a palm fringed promenade lined with restaurants and pavement cafes.
Pollensa Old Town is set against the dramatic backdrop of the Tramuntana Mountains a little way inland from the coast. The origins of the town are Roman and it is a pleasant place to wander around, with craft shops and boutiques to visit. Placa Major, the main square, has a Sunday morning market where you can buy souvenir handicrafts or fresh local produce such as cheese, olives and Mediterranean vegetables to sample at lunch or on the barbecue. Nearby Pollensa Golf is a 9-hole course with wonderful views over the Tramuntana mountains, olive groves and Pollensa bay.
Cala St Vincent is a quiet coastal area surrounded by mountains with pine-clad ground sloping gently to the sea. There are two coves to choose from where you will find sparkling shallow water which is great for families with young children. With convenient parking, a choice of restaurants and sun-loungers and parasols for hire, everything is laid on here for you to enjoy a relaxing day in the sun.
