Details
Ground Floor
Large wooden double doors lead into this bright and spacious modern villa. The villa has a light and airy décor throughout, and pale cream tiled floors which remain cool underfoot even in the hottest part of the day. The open plan living space is kept bright and airy by several windows with lovely views of the pool and its terrace. A colourful leather sofa and easy chairs are gathered around a coffee table and facing the TV which has (limited) satellite channels and a DVD player. The room continues around in an L-shape to the dining area, which has a large glass table to seat six, and the modern fully fitted kitchen. The kitchen comes fully equipped with oven, ceramic hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, and double patio doors lead from the kitchen and dining area out onto the terrace. There is a further utility area, which has space to dry and a washing machine.
The hallway has a delightful enclosed feature tropical garden and leads to the bedrooms. There are two lightly coloured twin rooms with delightful carved or ironwork beds and cream linen. Both rooms have ample fitted wardrobe space and share the separate bathroom with twin hand basins, full bath/shower, toilet and bidet. The master bedroom has a double bed, fitted wardrobe and en-suite bathroom with wash basin and toilet. A delightful feature of this room is the patio doors which lead directly to the terrace and gardens – the perfect spot to enjoy an early morning coffee before the heat of the day.
Outside
The sculpted gardens are in keeping with the modern feel of the villa, and feature traditional lava rock walls and well kept tropical gardens. Large terracotta pots contain spiky plants and the dark volcanic earth provides a stark contrast to the pale tiles underfoot. The large pool terrace contains a 7m x 4m rectangular pool with roman style steps that can be heated during the winter months. The terrace has several sun loungers for your party and parasols for those who prefer the refuge of the shade to basking in the sunshine. There is a dining set of patio table and chairs to complement the built in barbecue which is perfect for family meals at the villa, or cooking for the company of friends.

Location
Ocean Drive is in Los Mojones, a quiet residential area of Puerto del Carmen, approximately 20 minutes gentle stroll from the Old Town square of the resort. The square is surrounded by a number of excellent restaurants some of which enjoy pretty views of the harbour with its traditional fishing boats. The evening brings the resort to life and the ambience of the music bars drifts out into the night air. To visit the local beaches, the sandy cove of the old town is that same 20 minute stroll, or the long sandy beaches of the New Town are the place to find the lively water sports and beach life that you would expect from a well established resort.
The award-winning Playa Grande beach is sandy and gently sloping making it popular with families. You can hire parasols and sun-loungers here, or explore some of the other rocky coves which are dotted around the coastline if you would prefer something more private. There are several windsurfing and diving schools in Puerto del Carmen offering equipment hire and lessons, as the coastline offers the perfect conditions for both these sports. Swimming, running and cycling are also popular in resort, with several bike hire companies along the promenade.
The resort offers plenty of opportunities for retail therapy and has a range of excellent shops. Souvenir shops line the Avenida or you can browse an array of local crafts and up-market luxury good
