Enjoying an elevated position at the end of a long driveway in a quiet residential cul-de-sac, Casa Nicola is spacious family villa with scenic views. The driveway is bordered by a lava rock garden on one side and a mature garden on the other.

The villa’s split level living/dining area is well furnished and decorated, with tiled flooring throughout. The room has comfortable sofas at one end and a wooden dining table and eight chairs at the other, with patio doors leading to a sheltered dining terrace - perfect for enjoying al fresco suppers overlooking the pool. The bright kitchen is well equipped with a microwave and dishwasher, and there is a separate utility room housing the washing machine.

A hallway from the living room leads to the villa’s four individually decorated bedrooms. There are two furnished with twin beds and two with double beds. The master bedroom has an en suite bathroom and patio doors to the terrace. The second double bedroom has an additional single bed perhaps suitable , and there are two further twin rooms. The family bathroom has a bath/overbath shower, WC and washbasin.

There are spacious sun terraces on two levels, both having some open and some covered areas providing welcome shade from the midday sun. The 8m x 4m pool is on the lower level, reached by steps, and is flanked by a well kept garden with a lawn, mature hedging and container plants.

The villa is situated in the tranquil village of Lower Macher and is within a short drive of Puerto del Carmen. There are local shops in the village for your immediate needs or you can drive to Puerto del Carmen for a huge choice of shopping, dining and leisure facilities.

At the Old Town harbour you can watch the local fishermen bring in their daily catch and perhaps enjoy lunch or dinner at one of the fish restaurants overlooking the harbour. Plenty of boat trips and excursions are available including tours in glass-bottomed boats which give you a great view of the marine life living in the clear blue waters. The narrow cobbled streets of the old town have traditional tapas bars and cafes, whereas a huge variety of international and fast food restaurants can be found in the newer part of the resort. The main avenida has a great choice of shopping and a lively nightlife. Puerto del Carmen is a long narrow resort stretching for 4km along the main coastal road and has an excellent gently shelving beach. A wide range of water sports are on offer here, from parascending to scuba-diving. There is a golf course and water park at Costa Teguise, around 30 minutes away by car, whilst the exclusive marina of Puerto Calero is only a 10 minute drive away.

The volcanic National Park of Timanfya and the wine growing region of La Geria are only a 10 minute drive from Macher. Timanfya has an incredible ‘moonscape’ with strange land features formed by past volcanic activity and, as well as driving, you can take a coach, camel or walking tour around
