Approach
The apartment complex has 16 bungalow style one bedroomed apartments positioned around pleasant communal gardens with a pool in the centre. Some of the apartments face the pool, whereas some are to the side and some have sea views.
Ground Floor
Each bungalow has a bright and comfortable open plan living area with a kitchenette equipped with a cooker and fridge with a freezer compartment towards the back. The main living space is nicely furnished with a sofa or sofa bed, easy chairs and a coffee table and has patio doors leading to a private terrace.
The bungalows have one bedroom which generally has twin beds which can be made into a double if required. The bathroom has a bath with overhead shower, a WC and a washbasin.
Outside
Patio doors lead from the apartment to a private pergola terrace which is equipped with patio furniture for your own use. The main swimming pool has a depth range of 1.5m – 2m but there is also an adjoining shallow children’s pool which is 0.7m deep. The pools are bordered by a large sun terrace with views across to the ocean and there is ample space for sunbathing. The whole area is pleasantly landscaped with palms and shrubs.

Location
The complex is ideally located for a beach holiday within 150 metres of the seafront promenade and only a short distance from the busy commercial centre with all its bars, restaurants and shops. Playa de Matagorda which is located next to Playa los Pocillos has a promenade stretching towards Puerto del Carmen Centre a few kilometres along the coast. Matagorda is renowned for its laid back atmosphere and good facilities, with the beach being popular with surfers and windsurfers. There is a hotel just a short stroll away with excellent restaurant and bar facilties and there is a bus and taxi service within walking distance..
Puerto del Carmen offers a selection of lively bars, restaurants and shopping facilities along its famous ‘Avenida’, with nightclubs staying open into the early hours. The Biosfera shopping centre sells a selection of luxury goods but there are also plenty of shops available along the Avenida if you are looking for souvenirs to take home. The resort also has a huge number of bustling bars and restaurants offering fast food and international cuisine. By contrast, the old town has a picturesque harbour, cobbled streets and tapas bars, with an array of excellent fish restaurants clustered around the harbour area. Boat excursions and trips in glass bottomed boats are available from the harbour with plenty of other water sports on offer at the main beaches.
The capital city of Arrecife is not far from Puerto del Carmen and is an interesting place to visit. The city’s San Jose Fortress, now a modern art gallery, overlooks the harbour where you can watch the cruise ships come in to dock at the main port.
